Nadav Zafrir is the co-founder and CEO of Team8, Israel’s leading cybersecurity think tank and venture creation foundry. Team8’s mission is to initiate and build long-term, disruptive cyber-security companies that give organizations the advantage over cyber attackers.

Prior to founding Team8, Nadav was the founder of the Israel Defense Forces’ Cyber Command and the Commander of “Unit 8200”; an elite military technology unit that has become an incubator for Israel’s renowned high-tech sector.
Nadav holds an LL.B from the Interdisciplinary Centre and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Nadav was born in Kibbutz Anavim near Jerusalem and grew up in Ecuador. At the age of 18, he returned to Israel to enlist in the army.
